Capturing the Essence of Family: My Approach to Family Photography
For me, family photography is a deeply personal experience tailored to each unique family: your atmosphere, relationships, and customs. This is precisely what we aim to capture in your photos. The ideal setting for a photoshoot is in the comfort of your home or during a leisurely family outing (perhaps exploring favorite spots in the city, picturesque locations outside the urban landscape, or even at Grandma's house in the countryside). Shooting at home is not limited by the size of your living space – even a cozy apartment can provide the perfect backdrop.
I also enjoy capturing families in a "family day" format. This type of session is for those who wish to fully immerse themselves in a day of family activities, preserving these moments for themselves, their children, and future generations to cherish. By viewing these images, you'll be transported into the story of your family.
During such sessions, we typically begin at your home, where every corner holds memories of your family. We'll then venture out for a stroll through familiar streets, visit cherished locations, or perhaps enjoy a family picnic in a scenic spot, complete with kite-flying. Whether it's a trip to the zoo or an amusement park – the choice is yours to make this day warm, familial, and unforgettable.
I won't force you into stiff poses; instead, I'll gently guide you through the shoot, offering prompts and suggestions, particularly at the outset. Together, we'll navigate any initial discomfort during the first 20 minutes. My priority during the shoot is ensuring the comfort and mood of everyone involved, as our final results hinge upon it. I'm passionate about capturing emotive images brimming with genuine feelings.
